Whether singing is your a newfound hobby or lifelong passion, I'm committed to helping my students better understand their bodies and their voices and helping to foster their own individual sound through establishing a healthy vocal technique.

As a professional vocalist with a diagnosed vocal pathology Liz has been trained to coach singers for both rehabilitation and habilitation work and can personally empathize with adult singers relearning their craft post trauma or injury diagnosis. They work with students of all gender identities, ages, and for all musical genres.

What to Expect

A typical lesson consists of a 30 minute technique building warm-up and a 30 minute repertoire coaching. [Repertoire coaching is not limited to standard repertoire and can include songs written by singer themselves.] Repertoire coaching is then divided into focus on technical skills as well as text interpretation.

My primary focus is sustainable singing through airflow and resonance awareness exercises, similar to those given in speech therapy classes. Every singer, their voice, and their vocal goals are unique and I treat each student as such. Whether my students are hardxcore singers recovering from injury, r&b singers working on their falsetto, or musical theater singers preparing for auditions, I provide a supportive and encouraging environment to help each student wherever they are in their vocal journey at that particular moment to be able to be able to use their art to authentically communicate with direct intention.

Liz’s current students have tested into music programs at Mark Twain middle school, Bay Academy middle school, Brooklyn High School of the Arts, Juilliard Pre-college program, and LaGuardia. Their older students have been accepted to undergraduate conservatory programs at Mannes, NYU, & Brooklyn Conservatory.

48 hour notice required to not be charged cancellation fee. Cancellation fee is the entire lesson fee. If a studio location is reserved student is responsible for additional cost of studio rental fee.
